880 vs 828?

Looking for some insights. I have an 880, which I understand was a downgrade from the 850, including a more manufactured, less warm sound. But how does the 880 compare vs the 828?

if you had an 880 would you trade for an 828?

Go early…. That x2x line is very nice sounding. Likely should have either unit recapped. That 828 will like have “those” plugs for speakers terminals.

Working on a 1280 now…. and I prefer units prior 80 series. 50 series, x2x, and x3x.
