9090db both channels merging

This is the craziest 9090db on my bench. I have done around 40 of these in last couple of years. Rebuilt this one and shipped it to client, who, after a couple of weeks realized it was playing only right channel. It is not the Dolby board, again I have rebuilt 40 of these boards. I have never seen a bad volume/bal control on one of these. Could there be damage to the wipers such that the signal is blending there? Unit had been dropped at some point, badly enough I had to do some chassis work. Have done all the obvious work w scope, tracker, etc. Bout to give up on this one! Cheers!

If you traced the left channel through the unit wouldn't you find where it's lost? If you traced the right channel through wouldn't you find where it splits to both left and right sides?

Mono switch might have a solder bridge. It's about the only way to get one channel out of both amps.
