I am trying hard to resist the urge to get these, I really don't need them but I have never heard a pair.

Everyone needs a pair of A-25's around just for the sake of trying and owning! A simple 5uf cap is all the upgrade you have to do, unless you install new terminals like I did, plus no refoaming required. I gave about half of that about for both of my pairs combined and I still own both pairs. They are very easy to listen to for sure.

Paired with a Dynaco ST-70 they sound great. For the price one should be already driving there instead of typing...

Once you hear them, you'll find something else to move...
I have a set out in the garage as nominal backups to my beloved EPI 500s. I've put them up against quite a few challengers, but they always wind up winning with their even sound.

Snag them and give them a listen. you'll have no problem getting your money back if you dislike them.

But you probably won't want to let them go..

Just don't judge them before replacing the crossover cap. It made a big difference in mine.

Seriously, whoever saw these first shoulda bailed for their car on the spot. That's 1/3 the going price for an average working pair, and those look excellent. A pair of the original logos goes for $25, fercryinoutloud.

Gone as in I called and there gone. The weather here in Ky. is atrocious and the roads are icy so going to gt them could have been tricky anyways.

Keep your eyes peeled as I've scored several sets for pittances.
There's no markings on the back except perhaps a "Denmark" by the terminals and often the logos are missing from the front, so a couple pairs I've found the sellers had no idea what they were.
Some looked like Hell, but sound like Heaven :yes:

I got a super minty pair myself although one is missing the name plate on front.. .. I paid $10.. had I of heard them first, I wouldn't have given $5.. BUT.. they sure have really pretty wood on them..
