Screenshot_20221220-132208~2.png Hi

I have a old Pioneer a-656 mark ii integrated amplifier. The input selector board is broken and beyond repair (long story). I want to use it as single input "power amp", and remove/disable the phono amp, tone amp and input board.
My goal is going Schiit Lyr2 pre-amp ->rca ->direct to amplifier board.
So

A) Where in the schematics would I hook it up?
B) What els would I have to do?
C) Bonus. Is there any upgrades to be made? Change old electrolyte capacitor to different sort for example?

I would really appreciate any help or advice I can get.
I am a totalt beginner when it comes to this kind of electronics, but it was my father's amp and it has been around my whole life. I really wan't to keep it as good as possible, and hopefully learn along the way. Willing to spend money, but do it my self.

Thanks, and apologies for any grammar mistakes
