A/B speaker switch question

Hi, first time posting, I hope I put this in the right forum. I want to insert an A/B switch so I can choose between 2 pairs of speakers in a stereo setup. So my questions are does the switch degrade the quality of the sound?
Secondly, any recommendations for a quality switch?

Im no specialist but i use this $1 estate sale find and i cant hear any difference wired thru this or directly.

There are many inexpensive switches available on Amazon. The purists who insist that their expensive exotic cables significantly improve their sound will probably disagree, but as long as the switches are solid, I sincerely doubt you'd hear a difference.

Yes, but no one here and tell you if YOU can hear that difference. But we will argue till the cows come home if it costs much money like those fancy speaker wires.
