She's going to a new home today. A neighbor of mine was taking care of a stray cat since last summer. Try as she might she couldn't get the kitty to come indoors so we've (the neighbor and myself) been feeding her and playing with her. I even built her an insulated shelter that she lived in last winter. I have two cats, my neighbor has two dogs and a cat so neither of us could take her in. We found an organization that takes in strays so all we had to do was catch kitty. Now this young cat evaded all our efforts to trap her until today. My neighbor, an elderly lady, shed a few tears to see her go but it's for the best. She'll be safer indoors and a family to take care of her. So long lil' girl, we'll miss you.
