Has anyone heard one? There is little info out there, and I'm developing a serious interest in oddball British gear. Amp only, but feel free to share if you've heard the pre, too.

Magnum Audio amps
"Hand built by Tony Relph (one of the original partners of Rega) in Hertfordshire! Blisteringly good British Audiophile yumminess.

It is a bad sounding amplifier unless your using it for classic rock to psychedelic or garage

Its an amplifier capable of producing the best middle you listened even in your life and absolutely nothing else Try to listen classic Jazz with it or even more simple things like soul or disco or anything more than a piano a guitar and a voice and will convert it to garage sound in a split of a second

Multiply this by 10 if used with its own preamp .

From technical point there is a number of issues with this amp where the 99% of them is related to the very high temperature developing inside the amp and boards are not efficiently cooled even though the outputs are nested in a huge heatsink .

Popping the hatch to inspect and see the down under of the board is a night mare but you will eventually have to do it since soldering and recapping will be in order sooner or later if you put it to every day use ..

Kind regards
Sakis
