A/d/s m15

Any opinions on the A/D/S M15 speakers how do they stack up against A/D/S's earlier L series speakers.Also given the fact that the M15's are now over 20 years old are their current production speakers using modern speaker technology that are a better bang for the buck.

It's very difficult to make that kind of comparison but my experience with several sets of A/D/S speakers is that good stuff is good stuff and it transcends technological trends.

Of course older speakers need a bit of attention of they have foam surrounds vs. poly ones. And over the course of their life the cabinets suffer the slings and arrows of simply being in the way of kids, pets, etc... And the crossovers may need some attention from time to time.

However, as an ADS afficianado, I can say I became fond of my L880/2's because they just sound so damn good to me.

I say ya can't lose with the M15's and should snatch them up, even if they aren't exactly clean and pristine.

Thanks I appreciate the feedback I have a pair of L810's and a pair of MV30T'S and enjoy them both I believe I'll pick up the M15's as well.They are in very nice condition.
