A/D/S PA-1 Bi-amp Help!

Hello Audiokarma,

I have read lots of threads on the site trying to get some information for my specific problem but couldn't find anything. I am running a pair of A/D/S L1290 speakers with their dedicated PA-1 amplifiers. One of the speakers was having an issue where both of the subs would mysteriously stop producing sound. This was more likely to happen at lower volumes. If I cranked something loud and bass heavy the subs would kick back in again. I switched the PA-1 to the other speaker and the problem followed the amplifier. Does anyone have any experience with these amps or could help me triage the situation?

No experience at all with those but if there are speaker relays in the circuit that is how they sometimes act when they need replacement or cleaning.
