A few questions about Technics TTs.

I am interested in oiling my Technics SL-1360, as I have NO idea when it was last oiled. Anyone recommend any specific oil? I heard sewing machine oil will work, but I am not sure.

Anyone know of a place I could get a single play spindle? I would trade my Technics stacker spindle for a single play. Anybody got one lying around and want to make a deal?

One of the feet is missing the bottom part, the spring is still there, but the pad on the bottom is gone. Any ideas on where to procure a replacement foot for this model? Should be interchangeable with anything from the SL-1350.

Thanks!

Matt

Sewing machine oil will work fine. I have some 3 in 1 oil that I normally use.

Nobody sells the spindles new anymore, so will likely be very difficult to find without buying another turntable that has it. You could post a thread on barter town here at AK to see if anyone has one, but you need to buy a subscription to AK to do that. Well worth it in my opinion.

Don't use 3 in 1. Over time, it "gums" up. It's not the right stuff.

Use sewing machine oil, or order the Technics branded oil from Kevin at KAB USA.
