A claim was made this morning in another thread (locked for other reasons) that Fosi may be using counterfeit components. Their units are easy to disassemble and I happen to have one that I bought one year ago--So I decided to open mine up and take some pictures to settle the matter. Easily done.

"KY" caps with correct-looking fonts & symbols.

Wima caps

TI NE5532 op-amps

Elna caps appear legit.
These are REAL photos taken minutes ago.
Anyone see any problems here?
I think this also dispels any rumors of poor QC. The through-hole work, SMC soldering, PCB quality & wiring are as good as anything I've seen, and better than most.
