A jig to install wood cases

We all know how fun it is to slide a receiver into a wood case without banging anything up, and more fun getting the receiver positioned so the screws will start in. Well my friends this jig makes this task easy, even enjoyable. AK'r T.Cartier made it for me and I've not dreaded wood cases since that day. It is simply a pair of rails padded with felt that the face of the receiver can safely sit on. So the case can be easily slid off and on. The pictures show how it works.

Very cool! I usually put them in upside down so the bottom cover screws don't gouge out the case insides but this is better. Thanks for sharing.

Great idea, the only thing that I might add would be to cut elongated slots in the base and use a fastener on the uprights so they would be adjustable.

Then they could be used for different units depending on size and knob/switch/??? location on the front panel.
