I have some JBL L112 speakers and am very happy with them. I have a chance to acquire some Yamaha NS-670 speakers in great shape. How would you characterize the Yamaha sound compared to my L112s?

I will be driving them with a Yamaha CA-2010 or a Dynaco ST-70.

Sadly, no one but you can determine what you will like more.
I know the JBL's sound is a little brighter where as the Yammies are a little smoother, but that is to my ears, yours will be different.
I like my coffee with cream and sugar, some drink it black. Different strokes.

Is there any chance you can audition the Yamaha's ? If so listen to the JBL's right before you go and your ears will tell you the right path for you.
 
So, are the Yamahas as laid back as my AR3a speakers?
