A little high on the shipping don't you think?

Yeah, that's a tough one. He wants $105.06 to ship it to me. I guess I could have it shipped to Doug and then save $2 driving to Vegas to pick it up. :scratch2:

Jay

He must have it at around 100 lbs in the shipping calculator. I recently shipped 2 speakers, well packed, from CA to NYC for $62 in shipping charges... There was another $20 in packing, but thats what a sheet of 2" styrofoam costs...

BTW I came in at $105 also from SD to San fran area...

Receipts

He said he would only charge actual plus he would supply receipts. New to eBay and set his shipping calculator wrong.

Look again, the very last line says it's not the actual unit for sale because his camera is on the blink. No way Jose

Yup, that shipping rate seems high, but he's got nothing on this (non-pioneer) auction!

edit for after the auction is no longer visible - $15.95 shipping for two Kenwood rack handles.

I sent an sx-1080 to California from Houston last week and my ordeal ran me a little over $100. The buyer told me it would have survived being dropped from an airplane.

Actually, what I said is that the wrong weight was put in to the shipping calculator in error, which you would have known had you bothered to read the entire listing. Actual shipping to Las Vegas would have been about $37. My camera IS broken and the guy who ended up picking up the unit locally is quite happy with it.

I wonder if this receiver is the same mentioned on this thread

If so, then I guess the thrill, I mean the shrill, is gone. :D

EchoWars DC offset thread, always useful....

Actually....I did read the entire auction and the only place it mentions anything about the shipping being too high is in an e-mail question. YOU need to understand that with amount of BOGUS deals on eBay these days there are several of us who are suspisious of a listing like yours. YOU also need to know that you could have edited your listings postage to make it more realistic. I'm glad the buyer was able to pick it up locally and was happy with it.
Travis

P.S. Have a nice day!!!!!
