Other than a pair of early Hartsfields it's tough to imagine a cooler pair of speakers.
Just beautiful.:D
Pair of Blond EV Patrician IV's.

Is this what you weren't going to tell us about?:D

Great looking speakers...though a little (a lot) above my price range. Are they really worth it?, no doubt they are very good speakers, but that is really steep. Condition is near perfect too, wonder if they had been bagged since new:scratch2:

That's not it but they do qualify.

That is twice what my Ford Windstar sold for (but it's not as pretty and probably doesn't sound as good).

Just amazing the amount of classic audio in Asia.

No kidding! Over the last week, I've seen a half-dozen big, classic speakers similar to those, including one beautiful pair dating back to 1949, complete with original documentation! Not to mention the cleanest, newest-looking (but actually original) JBL Paragon I've ever seen. And there are similar scenes in some other Asian cities, too.

The only downside to living where there is so much good gear, is that... there is so much good gear! You have to exercise restraint and "just look, don't covet, don't buy" most of the time, unless you're a multi-millionaire with a spare house to put them in. (There are a few of those, too --rich collectors with hundreds of "treasure" pieces!). Still, it's nice (fun) -- better than living where there isn't any gear.

That would be a nice pair to add to the ol' collection, but WOW what steep price to pay. I'm still looking for a mate for my Georgian.

The 30`s were not around in that particular era 15`s were the biggest. Maybe came later and as an option I`m sure.
The Patrician IV had an 18", the Georgian, Centurion and Cardinal had the 15". 30" came with the Patrician 700 and 800.
