Yesterday I drove up to Greenville, SC to buy this rust free 2000 rear wheel drive Base regular cab long bed Toyota Tundra, it has the 3.4L V6 with an automatic transmission, cloth bench seat, manual windows and door locks. It currently has 183,000 well documented, mostly dealer serviced miles on it. It will be used by my mother to drive around town running errands... she drove it the 120 miles home without issue. My 2007 RCSB pictured on the left performed flawlessly up and back in 100 degree heat.

I’m a Tundra fan and I’m sure the truck will serve your mom well. I don’t have as many miles on mine but it has served me well since purchased new in 2018.

Short bed is rare. I'm a huge fan of the 1GR-FE 4.0L V6. SB with 5.7 would be a wet dream.

That's probably pretty similar to the T100 my first cousin had back in the mid-1990s. That truck was a total unit. Couldn't be faulted, couldn't be killed. Not fast, but that wasn't the point anyway. It did the work, and it did it well.
