yeah the drop down is on the components as well as the records![]()
DigitalK,
I agree about the cabinet. The face-plates and the cabinet don't seem to match. It's like colonial maple meets '57 chevy.
I'm not sure what you could do to the cabinet to help them look more "suited" for each other. :scratch2:
Maybe a really good piano black finish for the cabinet with some brushed aluminum hardware/trim...just thinking out loud...hmmmm.
Never heard of Grommes. But I like it!
Nice score!:thmbsp:
??? Does not compute. Did this come from a thrift yesterday for $80? I see it in a Dec. 1 Craigslist ad (that's still up) at $350.

This is a grommes setup that Ive had for quite some time now. EVERYthing works. The tuner, the amplifier, and the turn table. Some of the knobs are a bit dirty but other than that, I consider this to be in excellent condition. visually the cabinet is in great shape, as are the units in it. I have no information on the speakers.
if you have any questions, or need high res files, please dont hesitate to ask me.

Nice output iron. That should sound excellent with good bass. Probably deserves better speakers. Maybe some vintage Klipsch or Altec's.
this is all thats on the back of the speakers...

You should post the set up in Barter Town, but not sure you'd get $350. How long have you actually had the gear? Nice looking stuff...
To me the retro look inside the cabinet screams "don't take me out".. Thats a keeper as is.
