I have owned an original pair of Magnificats and now have a brand new pair that Mike made for me. In fact, the picture you see on his website are the exact ones in my living room!

I love them so much that Mike is right now in the process of making me a pair of CherryWood 312's. These are not even on his webpage yet, but will be soon.

Mike is the best!

Some humor

I love humor so earlier today I was talking to Bobby on the phone about what else "Vintage Speakers" and I said to Bobby " I am thinking of a new slogan, NEW OLD FASHIONED SPEAKERS" and Bobby says to me " Well Mike, let me think on that one".. New Old Fashioned Speakers..LOL

No Gremlin for us, '74 Vega Kammback instead. Heh, my brother's best friend borrowed that thing one night for a date after it had been wrecked one too many times. Pulled up to the girls house, pulled the driver's door handle, and the door promptly fell off onto the driveway...:stupid:

You could see that thing coming a mile away from the blue cloud of smoke generated by the innovative Teflon coated cylinders....

Ah the good old days...Welcome again!

Well it appears that Bobby A is THE man. Not only a super person with an AWESOME Vintage Audio setup but he drafted my entire homepage yesterday and it is already posted, really NICE work Bobby and composition skills! Thanks!!!

Why not, everybody else does. They usually call em the Classic or Heritage or Legacy Series or something. :yes:

- AA's dad used to put a quart of oil in it every day on the way to work. It would need another quart by the time he got home that night. Six miles. Round trip.

- It was a lovely shade of blue, usually seen on IBM Mainframes. That's because it was painted IBM mainframe blue. With a brush. :yes:

Yes they were "The good ole days" I had an AMC Ambassitor (battleship grey) that I did some brush touchup on the ENTIRE quarterpanel too! But it looked better than NO quarterpanel. LOL Great story from some GREAT people!!

MY wife took possession of these speakers as soon as I brought them in the house, they have a very high WAF. (wife acceptance factor) The advents I had on her system got sold. Her only complaint is that the "dishes" rattle when she cranks up the volume.

I can only picture dishes, pots and pans rattling while she is making dinner! Awesome Jim!
Crazy that my dad only had a M emblem (like on your Reflectors) for the very early days (60's).
What could he have been thinkin??? :headscrat

But now that I think about it it is pretty cost effective!

The next morning the CEO, Michael Martin, returned my email and has provided me with the history on these great speakers. Hi Bruce,

That is simply amazing another pair OMG!!! I would not have believed it! And all components working too, I hate to hand router new holes for new parts because the vintage are no longer available!!!! Yeah!!

P.S. I remember going to Delaware to see the very first POLICE concert in America with Sting! "Message in a bottle"!
Gosh I am getting old! lol
