A video on pod 'communal' life in CA.

Pod living may be the future for the more well to do as our population skyrockets and land is at a premium. I had heard on the radio some communities are outlawing single family housing and only zoning for multi family buildings. Pods in CA are renting for the prices of apartments in other cities.

In the big cities, tents and communal showers may be what the average Joe or Jane lives in someday.

...just never know how things will turn out...huh?

The planet is over-populated.

My understanding is that some towns are ridding themselves of single family <only> zoning, not outlawing single family housing. Big difference.

Most people will live in an Amazon working community. You work you get nutrients and living quarters. It’s not slavery. It’s totally “voluntary”

Looks nicer than living on a Navy ship was, just without all the fun Caribbean and Mediterranean port calls. Perfectly fine for young, single folks trying to save money for a few years.

Not for me. I like my privacy.

Never seen that before and really that vid was to promote the idea, as what was show was not even being used yet. I din't see any personal stuff, just models and staging.

The walls must be paper thin. That jackhammer would drive me crazy. More California fail. How about a community of pods along the Salton Sea?
