Ain't this boogie a mess
Took the day off to drive to Oklahoma to see the in-laws, but alas, Mother Nature had other plans - nice steady snow all day.
That left me with Friday at home - aw shucks.
Took the time to familiarize myself with a newly acquired Sony PS-X5. I have started out with a Grado Blue on it, and what a day:
Jimi Hendrix - Band of Gyspys
Dave Brubeck - Adventures in Time and Together Again for the First Time.
Stanley Turrentine - The Baddest of
Jeff Beck - Wired
Dire Straits - S/T and Alchemy Live
Robin Trower - Bridge of Sighs
Pete Townsend & Ronnie Laine - Rough Mix
Keith Jarrett - Koln Concert
Blondie - Parallel Lines
Fine Arts Quartet - Beethoven Quartet in B Flat & The Grosse Fugue
Worst of Jefferson Airplane
The Stone Poneys
George Benson - White Rabbit
The Who - Quadrophenia
I have some Modern Jazz Quartet, Jeff Beck, Chick Corea, Pretenders, Billy Cobham, Hendrix, Ben Harper, more Dire Straits, Sly Stone, & Fine Arts Quartet in the Queue.
Did some laundry & started on my taxes too. Interesting how some good sounds coming from your stereo can make doing taxes more pleasant - doesn't hurt to find out about a new tuition tax credit too.
Gotta go change records,
Regards,
D-Ray
