A friend of mine has a Harman Kardon Citation 11 and 12 set. He was considering selling it. I really enjoyed the sound out of that amp when I was over there, and am considering offering a trade of my Sansui 8080db. I am looking to try out a different sound and try seperates.

Going by value, would this be a wise trade? I would be pairing the amp with some newly purchased JBL Decade 36s.

It's a wise trade on your part- not sure if it's a wise trade on your friend's part. You guys work it out- and remember, you're still friends.
