A25 Recap?

Have a set of Dynaco A25 I recently gave a bit of a feed n wax to, and while I had em on the bench, I opened up the one to see what cap value it actually had. It's a 4.7uF cap. Doesn't look electrolytic.

Question is, will replacing it be worth the trouble?

Yeah that's a film cap of some sort..probably no need to change them.

Easy to replace for a little amount of money if you feel like messing with them. Both pairs I owned, I just replaced with a good quality 5uf capacitor and called it good. YMMV

if you want better sound out of your tweeters, no

That cap is the same style that ADS used and I have a couple pulls from some speakers. I measured 4.8 and 5.1 on those two caps. They will make a fine replacement for some electrolytic in a speaker one day.
