A60 to A70 comparison

I am running a Sansui Au-717 amp to two pair of BA speakers. On set is A60's the other set are A70's. It seems the 60's have a lot tighter bass and less midrange and treble than the A70's. When I got the 60's the surrounds were shot, so I refoamed them. The 70's have not been touched. I would think the 70's would an upgrade to the 60's as far as bass etc. Opinions please.........

I picked up a pair of A60s today. They appear to have rubber surrounds.

They're in the queue for measurements, and then, well, fasten your seat belt.... ;)
 
I had both sets and couldn't tell much difference in sound quality. They both sounded great. I kept the A60s because they were smaller.
