A7's for $600

Local to me i a set of A7's with the following:

Altec A7 Voice of the Theater speakers (2). Probably made in the 1970's. All original drivers and crossover, some mods (minor, do not affect audio, must see), painted black (freshly touched up), very solid but have road wear. Sound excellent. Each has 421-8H 15", the larger horn (511-B?), 808-8A drivers, and the typical "big knob" 800 Hz crossover. 42H x 30W x 24D. $600 for the pair.

Those are probably 1208B's from 1975, OK for PA use, change the woofers to 416's and diaphragms to 802 style aluminums and they're good to go for home use, figure another $500+ for the conversion, I'd offer $300 - $400 for them, that's my opinion for what it's worth. :nono:
