Hello again. I picked up this amp off the side of the road and was surprised it worked judging from the visual condition. However the level knobs seemed to have no effect. I opened it up and when comparing it to an image I found from an ebay listing I seem to be missing 2 pin harnesses on mine from the yellow board connected to the level pots (in the bottom right corner of my image IMG_4512).
Does this mean the gain on both channels is stuck on the lowest (or highest) setting? Is there a way to test this with a multimeter?
I'm currently testing them on a pair of EV SX100+ PA speakers (200 W @ 8 Ohm) and it sounds good, although I worry that this amp is too powerful for them. Would be interested in trying it with a subwoofer set up or even some studio speakers if people think it's safe.
