AC/DC Record Label Blank On Side 1

Mister Pig

Pigamus Maximus
So I took out my For Those About To Rock album this morning and noticed that a side has no songs listed on that label. Flipped it over and noticed the songs for side 2, but this was not one of those weird labels where all songs are on one side and the other label is artsy. It looks like a standard label with record company info and is the correct color. There are just no songs, so I suspect its a misprint. I imagine this must happen from time to time, but I don't find any threads on it so it must not be a run of vinyl pressed that had this issue.

Any thoughts?

I have a couple SRV's with blank labels.

I have a Buffalo Springfield album with two side 1 labels. I bought a factory sealed Everly Brothers album with a Bill Cosby LP inside. :)

I’ve got more than one of these factory misprints along with other errors. The most unusual is having both sides of the LP with the same music. The labels are correct but the groves are the same. Originally was going to send it back but decided it was work keeping because it was so unique.

That one sounds quite unusual. Which album is it? Perhaps the tracks on side 2 were just fillers, and the record plant employee he/she was doing the customer a favor.

I have a Michael Nesmith LP like that. Both sides are Side 1. I've been on the lookout for a version of both Side 2's. It had to happen, right? :p

Have a copy of Dream Evil by Dio.

Side 2 label shows another artist; Ladysmith Black Mambazo Shaka Zulu.

Couldn't have two more different artists!!

I have lots of LPs w/ label anomalies/errors/whatevers ... too many to list/recall.

Still say the cock-up kent cited above i.e. 2 Live Crew ~ Amy Grant (CD) snafu is about the best and biggest gaffe of which I'm aware. Too funny.

I have an Ahmad Jamal Rossiter Road LP that has one blank label. Sounds great, kinda cool collectors oddity but probably not that interesting to most people I know

I have a copy of Rainbow's Finyl Vinyl (2 record set) missing the label altogether on the B side of the first disc.

A bought a new band's new album a few years ago, it had the same music on both sides. I got it at a concert so I called the record company and they happily sent me a new copy.....
