Accessing Belts on Sony TC-129?

I have a Sony TC-129 top loading cassette deck that is in need of some attention - the take up spool doesn’t turn in play, and ffwd and reverse are a bit low on torque. I’m assuming some belts and or tires need replacing, but it is far from obvious how I’d get at them.

Hifi engine has an electronic schematic, but no mechanical drawings or service manual.

The main flywheel to capstan belt is pretty easy to get at, but everything else is buried. I don’t seem any way to take the top off, and from the bottom there are too many screws to choose from.

Any suggestions for how to get this thing disassembled?

Just replaced my TC129 belt. You are right I have a hard time to figure out how to remove the whole thing out of the case as well. I did remove the screw (next to screwdriver), and loose the another one, so the metal piece can be rotate 90 degree, so you can gain the access of the plastic screw. The belt now can be removed. After install the new belt, I found my tape deck playback speed is a little slow, I can not find information how to adjust the speed. I found the repair manual of Sony TC-127, which looks very much like the TC129, only information that I can find is there are 3 different of pulleys for too fast and too slow problem, and the motor was powered by 120V 60 hz directly, like electric clock synchronized motor.
