Accuracy in Loudspeakers---Define

Wow, this thread is amazing! If you replace "accuracy" with "biological sex", and "subjective" with "gender", you may as well have an online battle between trans rights activists and radical feminists! And it all happened here, first - MORE THAN A DECADE BEFORE IT WENT MAINSTREAM! :D
Youz guyz are Philostopher Kingz!!!

Hi i do not think that the comparison is correct. Sex and gender are studied and explained by a science called medicine ... a science that is not exact.
Instead sound science is based on physics that is an exact science.
When we introduce the human variable everything gets messed up. Humans are impredictable and inaccurate. They do not follow the math.
I am sincerely fascinated by exact sciences. When i read laws like these ones
First Law: Planetary orbits are elliptical with the sun at a focus.
Second Law: The radius vector from the sun to a planet sweeps equal areas in equal times.
Third Law: The ratio of the square of the period of revolution and the cube of the ellipse semimajor axis is the same for all planets.
i am amazed. Even universe obeys to math laws The universe is much more exact of us.

There are no exact sciences. The numbers will keep going further. You will go mad if you put all your faith in our ability to ever really comprehend the exactitude of the universe.

I do agree that there is a very nice way to escape the trap of our ego, by observing phenomena (and the dance of numbers, to a degree). Make observations! Discard opinions!

This thread is fascinating, because it really shows those who are putting a religious faith in our ability to quantify and understand the observable universe, those who want to express their opinions, and those who understand the follies of both, and strive for some sort of balance.

Be honest. You have some issues with math  me too. Unfortunately

i have to say that i have much more faith in math and science than in some charlatan dressed in a weird manner and acting like an idiot
But as someone said ... it has always been difficult to fight voodoo with science.
