Acoustic Audio speakers?

Anyone ever heard of these? Junk? White van speakers?

There's a set for sale local and it got me wondering.

Probably fall into the WV category but, that doesn't mean they sound like crap either. Might be good for a TV/Gaming set up, or just for when you really want to crank it and abuse your ear drums.

My "WV's" have served me well for 20 years now. I've always liked the way they sound, and I have never been able to push them beyond their limits. They take a serious beating without a sweat. They are part of my "surround sound" TV system.
