Hi and welcome to AK!

Your woofers are correct.
When you hook them up, don't be surprised if the mids and tweeters don't put out sound, or it's very low. The most common reason for this is corroded pots.
If they have low-no sound, twist the knobs back & forth a bunch of times, you may find a sweet spot where contact is made bringing them back to life.
When I work on any vintage AR, I assume the pots need inspection, and the caps need replacing.

There's plenty of good threads covering these speakers, pot rehab, and recapping.

Congrats on getting a nice set of AR's! They look to be in very nice condition in the listing pics.

Cheers, Glenn

Thank you Glen!

I haven't bought them yet but it sounds like I should pick them up. From a very limited information out there, I think it's definitely worth to pick them up at the price. I am not sure.

I have a set of the 2AX's and they are excellent speakers. Mine have the older woofer (cloth surround), however I think these will sound essentially the same.

Thank you Glen!

If the price is good, go for it! The only thing I will say is once you have them singing again, you're going to want more. The slippery slope awaits you!
