I’ve always been a fan of the Marantz 2275 Receivers and KEF 104aB speakers. I have 2 such sets, both fully recapped by me. Then I got the 9000DB and matched it with KEF 105 and later 105.2 (again all fully recapped). I enjoyed both 105 models deep bass, together with the clarity offered by the 9000DB. 3 months ago, I let the 105 go and instead, brought home the rare AR M4.5. I’ve been enjoying a set of AR M2 in my office, connected to Yamaha C-4/M-4, but nothing prepared me for the combination of the M4.5 and the 9000DB. I admit, they are not a bass powerhouse, but the clarity, depth and amazing soundstage more than compensate for it. The disco antelope looks happier than ever, I guess the new sound is to its liking too
