Acoustic Research Motor Query

Hello everyone! I'm a electronics idiot so I'm hoping someone can help me out. Looking to replace the motor on my AR XB and have already researched the options I have.

I'm in Australia so my question is;

If I were to purchase this Hurst motor https://www.alliedelec.com/product/hurst-nidec-motors-/3001-005/70290249/ which is 230vac 60hz and instead of changing it to 50hz using the right capacitor just use the upgraded 60hz polymer pulley would it run at correct speed?

Otherwise I will mass load my 50hz pulley but it was just a thought.

If the line frequency is 50hz, then you need to use a 50hz pulley.

The rating on the Hurst motor simply means it will spin at 300 rpm on a 60hz line.
Run on a 50hz line, the motor will spin slower, thus the need for the correct pulley to compensate.

I just skimmed through their catalogue.
Prices on most items are through-the-roof nuts. I suspect this applies to the clock motor as well.
