Acoustic Zen - Alive? or Gone? need a tweeter...

I have picked up a nice early pair of AZ Adagio and they have a tweeter that is not working. I have emailed AZ and no response. I have called them multiple times, they seem to have a cell phone as their business phone and the voice mail is the default message and the voicemail is full. I have tried to contact several dealers listed on the website and they either don't list the product any longer, the store no longer exists/no website, or they haven't dealt with AZ in a long time. So, any news out there? anyone know the fate of AZ? Surely they don't make that ribbon tweeter, right? Any clue who does? does not look familiar to me. Anyone used another tweeter successfully? Thanks for your help and suggestions.

Take the tweeter out & it should be ID'd on the back?
I'm assuming there's just a couple screws holding it in or you can remove the back of the speaker & see the tweeter that way.
Maybe the tweeter is fine & there's just a loose wire or something.

If you come up with numbers for the tweeter, maybe then try ebay. Something like "Acoustic Zen #XXXXX tweeter"
 
No identification on the tweeter, unfortunately/fortunately Acoustic Zen does a nice job of soldering all connections... I know what you mean... I once acquired a "nice" pair of polk audio speakers (mid eighties) and the wire had simply come off the tweeter, stuck it back on and I had a working pair of speakers. This tweeter is odd, unlike anything I have seen. Meanwhile, I have attached a Polk tweeter I have on hand and it works, so the problem is certainly the tweeter. I have taken it apart and will test continuity tomorrow. Looks like a Kapton disk with a circular trace from the edge to the middle with neo magnets behind and in front. Looks like it has been taken apart before. I cannot imagine this is a Acoustic Zen design... but it could be. I am familiar with many speakers, have not seen one like this.

The three drivers are configured in a time and phase aligned D'Appolito MTM arrangement providing lifelike imaging over a large sweet spot range.
