Acutex Cartridge

Hey everyone, I recently purchased a Toshiba SA 7150, Pioneer PL 630 and an Optonica cassette deck. I posted this in vintage solid state amps and someone asked me what kind of cartridge it had in it. At the time I had just got the turntable and all I could see on the cartridge was made in Japan in white letter. However, I finally got around to looking at the cartridge earlier today and noticed the headshell says ADC and the front of the cartridge says Acutex. How would I find the model number of the cartridge? I have been out of stereo stuff for quite some time, and I don't remember Acutex. Is Acutex a good cartridge? Thanks.

Take out the screws that hold it in the headshell. Model number should be on the top of the cartridge body, if not try and post a pic of the stylus.

I took the screws out of the headshell and it's an Acutex MR320IIISTR. Is this a good cartridge and can you get a stylus for it? Thanks for all your help.

I picked up a 315 (c.1978) with a Technics SL-Q3 a couple of years ago. I've yet to listen to it. It's described as a Tri-Pole Induced Magnet System (T.P.I.M.). The stylus replacement is listed as part# N-320 III STR. I don't know of it's availability. Here's a scan from the owner's manual:

This SL-Q2 has an Acutex cartridge in it (maybe the same model, I fergit), as found.
I would classify it as 'perfectly OK'.
You might be able to source a stylus (most likely aftermarket) for it from one of the usual players... Garage-a-Records, Needle Doctor, etc., etc.

Strat, I also recently purchased a nice PL-630 with a Acutex M320III STR cart on it. That must have been a popular combination. I haven't spend a lot of time listening to it but it sounds very nice from my initial impressions. I have a review of it from a magazine from the period and they rated it very highly in it's price range. It costs $175 back in 1978 but a new stylus for it will cost a lot more than that. It's available here.
