ADC Burr Brown 16/2R CD player

Found this guy a while back on the classifieds. Nobody seems to want to pick it up at the sell price. I offered him $40 for it, he counter-offered $45. I'm just looking for a nice little CD player to hook up to my Marantz 2325. What do you guys think?

Looks dang good to me.
You can hardly buy a pack of smokes for $45! If it is local to you go look at it and check it out.

I had one of those for a while on my bench system, sounded decent and worked pretty well after I cleaned the smoke covered lens of the laser assembly.

I agree with the above, more than $50 would be a stretch. If you were to buy it, make sure the seller has the remote for it as well.

Wasn't sure if shipping would be involved or not. To OP, it would be up to you if no remote would be a deal breaker.

Maybe you could find a remote for it later, sure worth a try.
I did without a remote for several years myself and finally found one and that was for an Audio Alchemy transport. Those are quite rare birds so you may luck out on a remote faster.
