ADC = dbx?

Recently acquired an ADC SS-412X equalizer/spectrum analyzer. On the back of the unit it reads:

ADC Products Division
dbx
71 Chapel Street
Newton,MA

Was ADC actually made by dbx? I will say that the audio quality from this unit easily surpases a similar Pioneer (SG-750) EQ/SA it replaced.

Yup, I believe they all ended up being part of the BSR family which in turn was owned by DAK Industries.
