1. Why do you need its specifications?
2. Its photo in your post is not sharp (is blurred). I can't read inscriptions on its face panel.
===

I’ve found a good resolution photo allowing to read inscriptions on its front panel.

It’s a universal graphic EQ with everything necessary for reproduction and recording spectrum adjusting from 31 Hz (crucially necessary for reasonable correction of “extra low” (25…45 Hz band) frequency roll-off in practically all modern “market” LS models) and effect results control, even for two recorders.

My main concern is the S/N Ratio...

I have a 1984 model Realistic 31-2005 with a Signal to Noise Ratio of 85db
And I see most of the mid 1980's ADC Eq's are 100db S/N Ratio...

I'm hoping the 1986 Model ADC SS 115 X is also 100db s/n ratio

wherefrom its S/N appears as “A-WTD (100dBA)” AT 1 V, not specified for what input level. Maybe for 1 V input.

Your “Realistic 31-2005”’s “Hum and Noise (shorted input): 85 dB”
http://120studio.com/audio/realistic-31-2005.htm
is also not specified for what input level.

ESPECIALLY if “100 dB” S/N is A-Weighted (substantially higher and more attractive for a customer) and “85 dB” may be unweighted (not clear from this “Hum and Noise (shorted input): 85 dB”), then they may be identical or almost identical in reality. While you can’t know this without special laboratory test of the two in identical measurement conditions.

So, me for example, I can’t decide whether the “ADC SS-115X” is better in the matter of its S/N than the “Realistic 31-2005”.

2. With “+/-15 dB” adjusting range and even with “+/-12 dB” of your “Realistic 31-2005”, take care of “boosting” strongly the “25…35 Hz”, “8000 Hz” and “16…20 kHz” bands at high listening power levels, to avoid LSs and/or even hearing damage!

@Portkula..
What do you think about the specs ?
My last post is from the owner's manual

Thank you in my turn.
I got them!
A seller on the internet was kind enough to send me photos of the owner's manual !
Good!
Everything we exchanged about EQs in this thread remains valid.

I’m a graphic EQs user for many years. Two from 1983 and 1984, one I don’t know exactly I think from 1990 (the three already gone), one from 1993. Of very good quality.

Long ago, I did, by curiosity, an experiment. I inserted in series TWO my graphic EQs into my amp’s monitoring circuit, put then in circuit the two simultaneously, their sliders at “0 dB”, and set my 90 W/ch integrated’s volume at its maximum in absence of input signal on the amp (the line input short-cicuited).

At 1.2 m (or 1,2 m who prefers it) from 91 dB/W/m 3-way “floor standers”, NOTHING as hum, hiss or any other noise. Easy to understand that while listening to real sound material nothing could be heard as noise, even with two EQs in circuit. Since, I don’t use 2 EQs at once, no need.

But don’t do this at closer distances! And better never at all. Very dangerous in case of an accidental pulse on the amp’s input!

But this “experiment” showed what excellent quality amps and EQs are.

Maybe the “85 dB” S/N of your actual EQ are quite sufficient, but if you wish to buy and use the “ADC SS-115X”, why not? I don’t know what the “ADC SS-115X”’s display shows, but anyway the two EQs have equal very developed commutations/monitoring possibilities.

Very good. Usual for excellent quality EQs by largely recognized audio equipment mfrs. And with unusual “+/- 15 dB” control range. Requiring much prudence against strong “boosts” of sliders at high level listening power output, especially of “extra-lows”, “8000 Hz” and “extra-highs”! I already accentuated this.
