Add ons to my paradigm 9se mkII..?

Okay let me start out by saying I am no audio file so don't laugh at me.. I have the above pair of speakers. They definitely sound great but are on the bass heavy 'darker' sound and I was wondering about adding a second pair of smaller speakers to flesh out the high and mid-range.
Would it make any sense to buy an older pair of atoms or PSB Alpha A or b's and use them as well with the 9se mkII's??

Probably not.

Placement of your current speakers will have more of an affect than adding additional speakers.

Get them up off the floor 6 - 10" on some stands.

Move them away from the wall 6 - 10"

Keep them out of any corners.

Remember the "golden triangle"......if your speakers are 6' apart, your listening position should be 6' away....add or subreact for your particular situation.

What are you using as an amplifier to drive the speakers ?
