Adding Binding Posts to Sansui Six

Greetings AK,

Thought I'd share a quick project I started and finished today. I decided to add some binding posts to my Sansui Six by removing one bank of wire terminals and replacing it with binding posts screwed into a sheet of Lexan. I live in a college dorm, so I don't have any power tools except a drill; Lexan is great because it can be cut with aviation shears. It's also highly resistant to splitting when drilled. If the holes are drilled small enough the screws will self-tap and there's no need to use washers. Anyways, here are some pictures:

I love it! Need you to do that for my Sansui 3000A (crumbling phenolic barrier strip) and G3000! Naww, prolly not work on the G3000.

And you are majoring in what? Mechanical Design perhaps? Most excellent work

Just a hint - Don't throw away the original speaker terminal assemblies. A restorer would probably find those valuable.
