Adding bluetooth to a Marantz amp

Hello everyone. I'm new on the forum and would really appreciate you guys helping out.

I've narrowed my amp hunt to a Marantz PM7005 (used) or PM6005 (new). Still trying to figure out if PM7005 will be worth extra 50 UK pounds/$70. I will pair it with Q Acoustics 3020 and Project debut carbon. But, I also want to be able to stream files via bluetooth to its DAC.

So, what would be the most convenient way of adding a bluetooth adapter so it would work with, let's say, pm7005's DAC? The sources would be Android aptX capable smartphone, and a laptop PC with bluetooth.

The amp's DAC has coaxial, optical and usb inputs (which requires drivers for playing with Windows PC directly connected, so I believe this won't be the way to go).

If I get a simple bluetooth receiver that can connect to the optical input of the amp's DAC, would the bluetooth streaming work? Would something like this do the job?

Note - I don't want to buy a separate bluetooth DAC that will cost $100 or more.

Anyone tryied something like this?

Thank you all so much for helping out :)

Should work, there are several Bluetooth adapters out there with digital outs. Would also take a look at a Chomecast Audio.

As far as your first question I would probably buy a PM7005. The 7005 is a Japanese built amp and is significantly better built then the 6005. Not saying the 6005 is junk, just not on the level of quality that the 7005 is.
