Not that they are in the best shape, but fot money it might be worth checking out. No grills. I got mine 2 weeks ago and they do sound nice.

I bought an SX-1250 from a guy in the Boston area who has a similar pair of L1290 series I speakers available. Same deal; wood grain and no grills. He wants $300 / BO. PM me for his contact info if interested. I'd buy them but I just got a pair in black (ugh) from my brother.

If I lived in a 100 mi. radius, I would buy them in a heartbeat. I don't even need any more speakers, but I would set up something, somewhere. 10 days and no buyer?:scratch2:

I bet those sound really nice for the money. I just paid 80 for some tiny ADS L-10s and even those sound pretty good for a two way with a 7" woofer.

Those have the rare bases on them. It almost makes up for the missing grills. Specs can be found here.

Agreed.....those bases are tough to come by. Almost as bad as the poor SOB that has L-910's without the stands!
