600 less a bit cause you are standing there with cash.

300 is 710 territory
350 is 810 territory
4-500 is the 880 980 models
anything under 500 is a very good price. But they are bigger speakers and some folks need them out of the house and get less.

There is a set in Round Rock for $101.00 cheaper. However, there were some modifications to them if you've seen them. That said, I've seen the 1290's more and less. I think at $600.00 your at what the market will allow for them based off what I see in Texas. I'm absolutely no authority on what they are worth or what you can get for them. Just food for thought. If you have to do any repairs on them as in send crossovers or speakers in for repairs, your resale margin will start to narrow considerably. One thing it seems to me, if you can live with sometimes long periods for someone to come along and buy them via Craigslist, someone will eventually come by and pick them up.

Lastly, with those Yamaha amps, I can't for the life of me think why you wouldn't enjoy the heck out of those L1290's!

Yeah, I would love to play with bi amping them. But, as you point out bigger speakers challenge the WAF.
