ADS 710 question

I put my 710's back in rotation tonight. When hooking them up, I noticed the model number says 710, not L710. I have always thought they were L710's. Are they an earlier version of L710? These have two woofers, one large sticky mid, and a smaller sticky tweeter. They also have cloth grills, not metal ones.
Dazed and confused here.

Early 710s. Later had an L then the next ones got the metal grilles and different parts. NBD, they are all 710s and the cloth grilles act as air filters keeping schmutz and cat hair off the stick domes. A better grille material for all but the cat owner.

I had 810s and still have L710s with cloth grilles American walnut (dark) and square corners, not the €-walnut (very light) with chamfered edges and metal grilles.
