How's it going everyone? 1st time poster. I recently inherited some of my dads old stereo equipment. All this stuff I grew up with, so it's really exciting to have it in my possession. It all needs some TLC, but it's coming along.
The reason for my post is that I have a pair of ADS 910's, and the small dome tweeters aren't working on both speakers. I've done some research on this board, along with some other places on the internet. I've Deoxed the connections from the speakers to the crossover board, I've swapped and replaced the fuses on the crossover boards and still nothing. I am going to check the resistance tonight with a multi meter to see if the tweeters are blown. Is there anything else I am missing here? I feel like it's a bit odd both tweeters aren't working, but I don't know if they are known for just going out on these things or not.
A guy in Arizona was made mention in a few posts I came across here who rebuilds ADS speakers. Anyone have his name and contact info? I may need to send these back to him for repair.
Thanks for the help.
