I picked up some ADS L-620's today at the local flea market. Asking $30 and I got them for $15. Very solid and well build cabinets. They are intact and have some normal scratches and scraps but I think they are well worth $15. My questions are, one of the tweeters was not working so I opened them up and found a round piece on the cross-over (sorry for the lack of knowledge) with two pins sticking out and one of the pins was not its hole. I turned it slightly and put it back in and the tweeter works fine now. What is that "piece" and how should it be attached? I don't see how to get in and solder it. Also I noticed that the cabinets did not have any foam or insulation in them. Is this normal for an ADS speaker? They really sound good, I was comparing them to my HPM-60's and they seemed a little clearer but not as much bass.
Thanks in advance,
