I saw that and the same seller also has some vintage Yammy gear (C2 and M4) that I thought were a bit pricey to........yup whatever.
 
I auditioned a pair of 1530s (priced at $850) today ... they're really good speakers for sure

Also auditioned the L910 (with their stands) ... also great speakers.

I got some Carver Amazing's from the same seller on Saturday ... I went back there to pick up some literature he found on them and the bass damper accessory. Not really looking for other speakers for the moment but he's thinning a collection of ADS and other speakers
 
Maybe if someone pays that inflated price, this dude will be able to afford a new period key for his PC:

I had both the 910 and 1530. I would get them both in a heartbeat if my house would be the same size I used to own in CT...
They are both the best two vintage speakers I heard/owned (had about 50 pairs...). Sure there are many other great ones but for the price hard to beat. YMMV
