ADS L710 vs JBL L36

After much input from various forums these two speakers are the finalists in my search for vintage speakers. These will be driven by a Cornus Magnum amp or Pioneer SX-850 receiver playing mostly classic rock (e.g., CSN&Y, Youngbloods, and Jackson Brown), soft rock, smooth jazz, and classical. The room is a sunroom with mostly glass walls and hard floors and my spouse and neighbors limit the volume to low to medium. I wish I could audition these but I can't so while I understand my mileage will vary, I'm still interested in your experience with these speakers ... did you love or hate them? Do they have a bias for one genre of music vs another? Are they booming bass or well balanced? Etc., etc..

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Both overpriced imho. Shipping should be 100 for ads and 150 for Jbl. At 600 ads are a better deal and more refined speaker. Smaller footprint too. Where are you located?

Sorry add has been deleted.. good deal.

710's all day long. The woofers will not need the surrounds replaced down the road either.

The L-36 is a classic JBL and I am not bashing them, I love JBL's. But the 710 is in another league.

At those prices I would expect them to be in perfect mint condition.

Apparently 400.00 heresy's makes people just off their sofa's! I wouldnt pay more than 250.00 but thats just me....
