ADS L810 placement and stands

Having the tweeters pointing at your ears should be the ideal setup. Sometimes, IMO, the brightness of a speaker can be toned down by deliberately pointing slightly away from the ears. My Advents sound better without any toe-in. I experiment with tempoary setups before buying or modifying stands.
 
I built something similar to these for my 710's and used the same height and tilt as the factory stands.
