ADS L810 Typo.....??

I have a newly acquired set of ADS L810 speakers which when you take the grills off...on one speaker the sticker that says ADS L810 is spelt "aDs"...but on the other speaker it is spelt "saD"...anyone with those speakers please chime in on this typo.

Never seen the "saD" marking. Is the speaker otherwise identical? Maybe this is like buying a Magnetbox, or Panaphonic, or Sorny.

I always figured that "aDs" was meant to invoke "brAun". For obvious reasons.

Just checked my 810's...mine both say aDs, perhaps just a misprint? How do you like the speakers themselves? I wouldn't sell mine unless the offer was enough to buy another pair AND put some money in my pocket. It's a shame they don't still make speakers.

Not so much that they don't make speakers as that they don't actually exist anymore other than as a trademark.

Someone could buy the IP and start making speakers again but i don't see it happening.

I absolutely love these speakers just that the one has an odd badge. I will take a picture of it tonight and post tomorrow. The speakers are totally identical in every way and were purchased from an elderly gentleman moving to Belgium who had purchased them new.
