ADS L980 compared to L810

Anyone had any experience with this model? There are a pair for sale nearby in Portland and I just have a hard time passing by ADS speakers. I have had quite a few in the past (L910, ADS/Braun 810, Braun 710, L730, and L570) and currently use a pair of 810 series IIs. Anyone used the 980s? How do these compare to the 810s? What is the difference between the 880 and 980? Was the build quality still up to par by this period for ADS? Thanks

I don't have them (other 9xx series) but they should be quite nice. PM Duffinator for opinion. He's knows, or can find info on most A/D/S. All good as far as I know in that arena :)
